I like your observation about all the dark hollows and hidden paths! And you drew this very well - loose and natural. I can see you enjoyed doing it.

Very nice drawing on something that appears pretty difficult to draw. I love how you talked about it being like a forest with paths and hollows, (I know someone said that already - but it was a cool analogy.) you did a great job handling the subject matter.

Thanks for all the comments. I didn't plan to spend as much time on it, but I kept getting fascinated with different things. At first I was going to just do a looser sketch and add some watercolor, but I felt done, and didn't want to do anything to screw it up :-)

Broccoli---great subject for the challenge and you did a good job drawing it. I get lost sometimes in drawings too esp if they have a lot of parts that look very similiar throughout like petals of a full rose, piles of cords, lots of leaves on a plant, that kind of thing ..but when I get lost usually I start messing them up. My brain can't find its way back out, LOL

I love this broccoli and your other drawings... I 'm a person who feels the need to depict every leaf when I draw a plant, so I too tend to get bogged down and lose my way when drawing vegetation!
