Rocket
More fun with watercolors and ink. Not totally happy with results. I'll probably try re-painting a couple times with different backgrounds, etc. Not bad for the first sketch though.

EDM #43 Ceramic
Finally did something related to everydaymatters challenges - #43: Draw something ceramic. It was an interesting angle that caught my eye - a straight-on view with only shades of gray indicating depth of the handle on the mug.

Loopy Kid Sketchbook
Here's a finished hand-bound sketchbook (links take you to my Flickr site). Roughly 3.25" x 5.25" - small moleskine size. I really like this stitched binding style because the notebook lays flat when using. Covers made out of museum board, gessoed and painted with acrylics. Gloss varnish finish. Paper is a light parchment style - adds kind of a nice rich feel to those sketches.
