I pick up a bootleg CD of AC/DC "Back in Black" in Bangkok. I don't know why.
I have a memory - maybe it was just a dream.
Listening to this, loud, in a basement in Kansas safe from all the tornados... (By now, I've lived most of my adult life in Singapore. It must be a dream... Kansas?)
I didn't even understand it. I wasn't my kind of music. It was this cool crazy friend I knew who played it. But it was f***in' awesome.
I play the album now, again - LOUD!
Now I get it. It still is and always will be f***in' awesome. That was one cool cat I knew. Hope he's well. And still rockin'
Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution... for sure.
